About WuLongTi

I'm a big enough geek to dress up as a Jedi at the premier of StarWars III and have anime costumes in my closet, but not a big enough geek to play Klingon Boggle. I love HeroScape and my friend Bill is trying to pull me into D&D. I don't think it will take much... I also enjoy playing LARP (Live Action Role Playing) where we run around in the woods dressed like RenFairre rejects and smack the crap out of each other with padded weapons. I'm geek enough to admit that I do larp, but not enough to have ever done "lightning bolt! lightning bolt! lightning bolt!" Hmmn... I guess I'm the Metro sexual equivalent of a geek... That realization is kind of scary...

Editable Spice Label – Large

I’ve gotten several requests for an editable version of the spice labels I made for my wife a while back. I created the labels using Adobe Photoshop CS5; the file size is relatively big and if you’re not a designer it would be easy to get lost in all the layers and what not I … Continue reading »

Paper-minis Prototypes

My buddy John and I are working on our own RPG that will exist as both an MMO as well as a tabletop game. For the art direction I’m planning on going for a graphic look that resembles stop motion animation of papercraft minis. The reason for this is so that the game is graphically … Continue reading »

TF: Prime Arcee, BumbleBee and Kreo BumbleBee [toys]

A week or so ago I picked up a few more toys. From the TRU website I ordered the Transformers: Prime Deluxe Arcee and BumbleBee toys and a few days later picked up the Kreo BumbleBee kit (the big one). I have to say that I am very impressed with the Arcee figure. She’s got … Continue reading »

Facebot VSN Dynactron MK IV

I’m a huge fan of highly articulated action figures and this extends to my choices of papercraft as well. I’m not too keen on paper statues, but if the model is articulated and can be posed around then that’s pretty awesome and I’m much more likely to try and build it. I came across this … Continue reading »

Fully Transforming G1 Grimlock Papercraft

My buddy Denarcien sent me a link to an older model of his that I had missed. This time he’s giving us a fully transforming G1 Grimlock! If you haven’t seen his fully transforming G1 Optimus Prime, check it out. He’s doing some really interesting things with joints, snaps I believe. Be sure to download … Continue reading »

Papercraft G1 Jazz?

I know this model has a “1″ on it instead of a “4″ and no Autobot symbol, but this looks pretty spot on to me for G1 Jazz’s alt mode. Clearly this doesn’t transform or anything, but still kinda neat.  Click the pic to grab the model. (about half way down the page) via Paperkraft.net … Continue reading »

G1 Optimus Prime Papercraft by Avon

My buddy over on the hisstank.com G.I.Joe message boards put together this awesome papercraft of a G1 Optimus Prime.  As part of a paper experiment of sorts he’s opted to use rare earth magnets for joints rather than fashion them purely out of paper.  That said, you would still be able to put together a … Continue reading »
