Vintage Spice Labels

Posted by on May 25, 2011

My wife got a new spice rack and hung it up, but she was unhappy with the fact that all of the labels were different and none of them went with her kitchen. She asked me to make her some new labels that she could put on the containers and these are the fruits of my labor. These labels were created between Photoshop CS4 and CS5 (work and home) and “ColBean” is a pet name for my wife Coleen :) clearly the “CB” is both my and my wife’s initials. I’m really happy with the way these turned out and may consider doing some other types of labels.

Feel free to download them and use them on your own containers ^__^ This is also an experiment with a new download manager so we’ll see how well it works out. Update: I didn’t like the other system so switched back to the one I’ve been using.

These were sized for Avery 2″x4″ labels but they don’t line up exactly right. It would be best if you used a solid sheet of sticker paper and cut them out on your own. In order to open up the file use the password: wulongti.com

If anyone is interested I can make an editable photoshop file available, just let me know in the comments.

These labels are gorgeous!! They were just what I was looking for. I was trying to find a vintage yet classy look. If it’s ok with you, I’d like to use them so I would be grateful if you could provide an editable copy. Congrats for a beautiful job!

absolutely not a problem. I’m so glad that they are what you are looking for. I’ll try to get that editable version (streamlined for ease of use) together for you in the next few days and email it to you. Do you have photoshop? or should I create them in a different method?

Actually I don’t have photoshop myself, but a friend of mine does. Whatever is the most convenient for you. Thank you in advance.

Thank you so much Anne! I’ve finally gotten around to posting the link for the editable version of the large label so be sure to check it out ^__^ I’ll finish up the other two sizes soon, maybe a week or so.
